History & Heritage

Classeq Warewashing was formed in 1977 to provide the hospitality industry with a range of robust, simple to use and cost effective glass and dishwashing equipment for professionals.

Since then, Classeq has unveiled many new products, applied new technologies in and continues to reinforce its relationship with distributing partners to provide glass and dishwashing solutions that suit all markets.

Initially established over 75 years ago, and in 2008 as a company limited by guarantee CESA – the Catering Equipment Suppliers Association – is recognised as the largest and most influential membership association for companies involved in the manufacture, import/export, distribution, installation & servicing of commercial catering equipment. CESA’s remit encompasses the full spectrum of equipment & ancillary services; utensils & tableware suppliers; and includes suppliers to all the main foodservice & hospitality sectors.


CEDA Ltd are the premier Trade Association representing the most professional Catering Equipment Distributors and Service companies in the UK.

CEDA boasts almost 100 members who offer local and national support to all types of commercial catering and foodservice operations.

CEDA members have a combined turnover which exceeds £450m, representing 50% of all catering equipment sold in the UK.
