Embodied Carbon data for the Classeq Range.

Supporting Hospitality with Calculating their Carbon.

Like many other industries, hospitality operators are becoming increasingly aware of their environmental impact and how to measure their carbon.

When it comes to equipment and buildings, some operators are interested in levels of embodied carbon.
While you're unlikely to be asked for the information for a simple machine replacement, the figures are often being requested for larger scale kitchen fit outs and new build locations.

What's Embodied Carbon?

Embodied carbon refers to the emissions associated with materials and construction processes throughout the whole lifecycle of an item of equipment or building.

That's where our R&D and production teams come in, working in partnership with ImpactLoop, we've pulled together all the relevant information to create TM65 data for each product in the Classeq range.

What's a TM65?

TM65 is a standardised method for estimating the embodied carbon of equipment, used when a full Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) or Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) isn’t available. It provides a clear starting point for understanding the hidden carbon costs of commercial catering equipment.

Using TM65 calculation factors, ImpactLoop converted product information we provided into an estimated embodied carbon figure (kgCO₂e) in PCF and TM65 format, drawn directly from bills of materials at component level from our factory.

The TM65 data for each product is available within the ImpactLoop portal and can be accessed by clicking the links below:

  • C400WS
The Product Carbon Footprint for the C400WS is relevant for all C400 models whether they are commissioned as a glass or dishwasher.
  • C500WS
The Product Carbon Footprint for the C500WS is relevant for all C500 models whether they are commissioned as a glass or dishwasher.
  • CP500WS-SR
The Product Carbon Footprint for the CP500WS-SR is relevant for all CP500 models.

If you have any questions about the product carbon footprints of the range please call 01889 272338, or if you're an existing Classeq distribution partner please contact your account manager.

About ImpactLoop

ImpactLoop is a data intelligence platform that helps organisations understand and reduce the carbon impact of equipment. It connects manufacturers, distributors and buyers through a single system for sharing accurate, product-level carbon data.

By centralising information and automating reporting, ImpactLoop replaces email requests with one simple, secure process. It supports data-driven procurement, easier compliance with sustainability standards and greater transparency across the supply chain.
