Surbiton High School is a busy London school serving meals to hundreds of students and staff every day. With their previous warewashing solution becoming unreliable a change was essential.
Like most hospitality settings reliability is key to the smooth operation of a school kitchen, downtime simply isn’t an option.
Working with our Distributor partners, Lockhart Catering Equipment we worked around the school calendar and installed the new machine over the Christmas period to avoid disruption. The school needed a solution that improved reliability, recovered lost space and simplified the working environment.
The answer was two Classeq CP500 machines with water softeners and steam recovery units plus new tabling that optimised the layout without intruding into the room making better use of the space available.
“Our previous warewashing machine had become unreliable. It was leaking, struggling to reach temperature and the surrounding extraction and tabling layout took up far more space than it should have.
Classeq completely redesigned the wash area, installing two new machines with a much smarter tabling layout that freed up valuable space in the kitchen.
The fact the work was completed over the Christmas holidays meant everything was ready to go for the new term with no disruption to service.”
